This great Saint has testimonials of living over 1200 years based on records showing his attendance at 100 meetings of the Khumb Mela. This historic mass pilgrimage occurs every 12 years at the Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna and the mystical Saraswati rivers (the latter being said to flow underground and joining the other two rivers from below). SRI SHANKAR GIRI permitted BABAJI to be in his presence in India in 1979 where he initiated him as a disciple.
