Known as the ageless Guru, BHAGWAN SRI TATWALA BABA MAHAVEER DASS lived in a cave near the holy city of Rishikesh, India. He has initiated only 12 disciples for the role as a spiritual leader serving humanity. In the case of Babaji, this training was initiated in 1963 via astral means. Part of this training involved fasting on fruits for 7 years to permit the actual physical meeting between the two (Babaji infact has fasted a total of 14 years on fruits) and so it was not until 1970 that BABAJI was permitted to be in the physical presence of this Guru. The tutelage provided prepared Babaji for the spiritual mission that lay ahead, particularly in the Western Hemisphere.
